Assignment 1 – Draft Dissertation (W1 - W7)

For the first task that were assigned to us by the lecturer, we were given a file containing a cover page for our draft research. According to the assignment brief that was given, in the draft research must contain:

The topic for our research can be the same as the previous one we made back in DRM module, in this case i picked Pop-Up Ads as my topic of research.

The lecturer gave me some information that i need to know in order to make my research look refine, and since i didn't attend for some of the meetings i didn't get much feedback

Assignment 2 & 3 – Visual Design Publication and Final Dissertation with TURNITIN submission (W7 - W11)

Part 1: Visual Design for E-Publication

This assignment is where we are required to design the visual publication of the dissertation in an e-publication format.

Essentially what this is, we have to convert our research into a E-Flipbook format kind of thing with designs that is related to our research topic.

Part 2: Final Dissertation (Revised Draft)

This assignment is basically just a revision of Task 1 (Draft Dissertation) into the Final Dissertation incorporating the feedback the received from the lecturer.

Final Dissertation Submission:

Assignment 4 – Research for Article Publication (W11 - W14)

For the last assignment, we receive a file where we have to adapt our research to this file which is called "KREATE Journal" (basically copy and paste parts from my research to this file with the limited words accordingly).

Feedback from the lecturer

I did not receive any feedback for this because i had an urgent family business to attend but I did asked the lecturer about stuff for this assignment (I asked her what if my words are over the limit by just a little bit and she replied by saying that it is fine).

Final Reflection

Task 2 in particular is the assignment that was the most stressful for me because it took the most time for me and the lecturer was also one of the main factors as to why this took so long. The lecturer asked me to remind her to give me the parts that needed to be fixed which she replied 2 DAYS later after i reminded her on the same day she asked me to remind her. After that, since i couldn't do it immediately since i have other deadlines to catch up i decided to delay it for 3 days then when i wanted to do fix it, turns out i was locked out from my own file then i asked her about it which she replied 2 WEEKS later and by that time the Task 2 submission is already way past due but the good thing is I did the revised version on a separate file in which i had to REDO the entirety of Task 1 according to the lecturers TURNITIN feedback and she expects me to finish it in ONE day which is impossible but then she "Extend" the deadline to 29 December.

I get she is a "Busy" person but that doesn't mean she get to leave students that needs immediate answers to their question for a long period of time and other students also have their own things to do in which in my case, there was a time where I have to accompany my mother to the hospital out of town which took me around a week to go back and do my assignments. It wasn't only me who complained about this matter, many other students suffer the same thing as well and I just hope something like this won't happen again in the future.
